Meet our new management team

We’re delighted to introduce Sarah and Leah, the new management duo leading the team at Sherwood House.

Both bring a wealth of experience, a passion for supporting people, and a shared commitment to ensuring our residents continue to receive the highest standards of care and support. Their appointments build on the strong leadership tradition at Sherwood House, where creating a warm, family atmosphere is at the heart of everything we do.

Sarah, Manager

Sarah Wiest has joined Sherwood House after more than 20 years with NCHA.

For almost two decades, she has led NCHA’s Customer Wellbeing team, overseeing services that provide customers with out-of-hours support, 24/7 mental health crisis assistance, and telephone and technology support for vulnerable people. She now brings that extensive experience, expertise and dedication to the residents and staff at Sherwood House.

Sarah is delighted to have joined the team and says she already feels right at home.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure to join the team at Sherwood House. It is a real joy to come here to work every day, and the team have already made me feel such a part of the wider family.

“I consider it an absolute privilege to help care for and support our wonderful residents. And I’m more than happy to get stuck in with the great activities we have here – and you’ll find me from time to time in the greenhouse watering our impressive tomato collection!”

Leah, Assistant Manager

Leah Cotton-Wood has been part of the Sherwood House family for a little over a year and is thrilled to have been appointed as permanent Assistant Manager.

Having previously supported vulnerable adults across a range of NCHA services, Leah brings valuable experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to the role. She has already become a hugely valued member of the Sherwood House team, and we’re privileged to have her supporting residents, families and colleagues every day.

A massive welcome to both Sarah and Leah – it’s fantastic to have you both on board, and we look forward to seeing Sherwood House continue to thrive under your leadership.
