Knit and natter
We’re getting crafty at Sherwood House.
Pam, one of our residents, is a keen knitter and spends a lot of her spare time knitting items for her local church fetes.
She asked if we could set up a knit and natter session to see if there were any other knitters amongst our residents.
As a result, we've held a knit and natter session which saw three other ladies picking up some knitting needles and having a go.
Whilst Pam continues her own projects for the church, we’re knitting squares that can be turned into stuffed bunnies. One of the ladies said “it’s years since I’ve done any knitting”, but she soon got back into the swing of it.
We’ve really enjoyed setting up this group and we hope it continues!
